Gaming Industry Observer GIO² premium service subscribers -

Please find attached Gaming Industry Observer's monthly Midwest Slot Report©, which covers the key metrics for all Midwestern (as we have liberally defined "Midwest") jurisdictions that publicly report gross slot revenue and related data. We include Louisiana and Oklahoma win-only figures and the aggregate data of two states - Mississippi and South Dakota - that publicly report jurisdictional or regional data, but not property data.

Also note the following:

• Michigan does not separate slot data from the gross gaming revenues, so we must omit Michigan from this report.
• Louisiana does not separate slot and table data, but we can use the Louisiana data from racinos - which have only slots.
• Those states that do not report handle are excluded from the total when calculating the Midwest hold.
• Illinois, Mississippi, and Missouri typically lag one month behind other jurisdictions in reporting slot statistics. Accordingly, we do not include them in the most-recent-month tabs, but do update the previous month's report with their totals included in separate tabs.
